More than 85 scholars from 25 countries around the world – including Poland, China, Algeria, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Romania, South Africa, Germany, Pakistan, Italy, Thailand, Czech Republic, Iran, North Cyprus, Indonesia, Turkey, Israel, Granada and the United States – will gather again this year to discuss critical issues concerning the field of international education. The theme is
"Putting Theory into Practice: Teaching for the Next Century."
In addition, we will be celebrating our first volume of work, Education Landscapes in the 21st Century: Cross-Cultural Challenges and Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives. This 450-page book was published recently by Cambridge Scholars Press in the United Kingdom.
The Seventh Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture will meet 4-5 December 2008 in Rome, Italy. Developing a new methodology for learning is the major focus of the 2008 congress.
