Germany Travel Mart 2009 - Event details   05/10/2009 - 05/12/2009 HANSEMESSE ROSTOCK, Rostock, GERMANY   Description The Germany Travel Mart (GTM) 2009 is the biggest sales event for Germany's inbound tourism industry. The success story of the GTM began in 1972 and every year a different city in Germany hosts this travel event. The 35th GTM will be held in Rostock from the 10th to the 12th of May 2009. It is being organised by the GNTB and the Hanseatic City of Rostock as well as the Tourismusverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on behalf of the German Coastline. Approximately 350 suppliers from the German travel industry and more than 600 international buyers and journalists are expected to attend this B2B market place. The focus of the GTM will be the two-day workshop on Monday and Tuesday, where German companies will be showcasing their products and services. Buyers invited from the key markets worldwide use the GTM to see what attractions and tailored packages the German travel industry has to offer. It is also a place to negotiate contracts, make new contacts and build on existing relationships. The GTM also keeps visitors up-to-date with new trends in the German travel industry. The GNTB's marketing activities are focused on the theme "Activity Holidays". The fun-packed evening events in and around Rostock provide great opportunities for networking.
