34th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference - Event details   06/07/2009 - 06/12/2009 TBA, Philadephia, USA  (Pennsylvania)   Description On behalf of the Organizing, Cherry, and International Committees, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 34th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference. This conference will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott in Philadelphia, PA June 7–12, 2009. The Technical Program will be complemented by six tutorials to be presented on Sunday, June 7. These tutorials will be taught by experts in their fields and will be valuable to newcomers to photovoltaics, as well as to seasoned veterans who wish to learn about recent trends. We also expect that the conference Exhibition will be substantially larger than in recent years because of the greatly increased level of interest in photovoltaics in the USA. We are planning a more vigorous Auxiliary Program, to include daily meetings, seminars, and panel discussions in topics beyond the scope of the Technical Program. We hope that this Auxiliary Program will attract many people to the conference who may not normally attend the Technical Program. We expect that the increased interest in the field of photovoltaics will lead to greatly increased attendance. The hotel will maintain our group rate and room block for a limited time—so we urge you to register for the meeting, as well as to make your hotel reservation, well ahead of the deadline.
