International Conference e-Justice & e-Law - Event details   06/01/2008 - 06/03/2008 GRAND HOTEL BERNARDIN, Portorož, SLOVENIA   Description Dear Madam or Sir, I have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the International Conference e-Justice & e-Law, organized by the Ministry of Justice from 1 to 3 June 2008 in Portorož, during Slovenia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference is dedicated to the following areas: exchanging opinions concerning the increased efficiency of judicial systems exchanging experience in relation to the latest trends in the world interconnecting services and systems of e-justice at the EU level presenting the latest legal services supported by ICT sharing experience in the management of legal information (e-law) We at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia are aware that justice and related legislation are of strategic importance at both the national and European Community level. Justice is a factor of considerable importance in relation to general security, protection of rights, economic development and welfare. The conference, at which you may take part as an attendee, exhibitor or lecturer, will be organized in the most lively tourist location on the Slovenian coast, in beautiful Portorož.
