Local Technologies, Global Opportunities: A TECHNICOM-PCIERD Investor's Forum and Exhibit - Event details   01/14/2010 - 01/14/2010 MEGATRADE HALL 3, Taguig City, PHILIPPINES  (NCR)   Description As we welcome the year 2010, the Technology Innovation for Commercialization Program (TECHNICOM) and the Philippine Council for Industry and Energy Research and Development (PCIERD) aspire to initiate the Department’s endeavor to enhance technology transfer in our country by holding the “Local Technologies, Global Opportunities: A TECHNICOM-PCIERD Investor’s Forum and Exhibit” on the 14th of January 2010 at the SM Megatrade Hall 3. This whole day activity will feature an investor’s forum for selected TECHNICOM technologies and an exhibit to showcase several of our local technologies. Most of the technologies have been funded by the DOST TECHNICOM Program or other DOST agencies. While some are already commercially availabe, there are featured technologies with promising potential for a new business opportunity. Potential adopters from the different sectors will be invited in our bid to enhance technology transfer in the country and stimulate public awareness on the relevant programs that the Department advocates. We cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of this significant event.
