Mobile Devices: Mobile Developer Days (MDD) 2008 - Event details

09/10/2008 - 09/12/2008 TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF BERLIN, Berlin, GERMANY

Description
After the initial event being held successfully in Aalborg, the event is addressing again developers of mobile applications and devices. The main idea of the MDD event is to create a platform where developers, network operators, service providers, and mobile manufactures can exchange their ideas and visions in the field of mobile communication.

Since MDD07 a lot has happened in the mobile world. Google and Apple entered the market with their own solutions. They got a lot of attention from the press and at MDD08 mobile developers can exchange their ideas on those platforms. But also the leaders of the mobile market have improved coming up with new platforms and solutions.

Voluntary and professional software developers are invited to a four days gathering. This provides an opportunity for developers, contributors and other interested people to meet in person and work together more closely. Everybody working on Linux, Symbian, iPhone, and Windows Mobile platforms for mobile devices is invited. Main focus is on open source and experiences when making applications for mobile devices using C++, Python, Java, Open C and others.
