SAT Expo 2009 - Event details   03/19/2009 - 03/21/2009 FIERA DI ROMA CONVENTION CENTER, Roma, ITALY   Description REPORT SAT EXPO EUROPE SAT Expo Europe, the future for aerospace and advanced telecommunications 120 exhibitors, 7000 visitors, 13 delegations from abroad, 310 speakers, 23 conferences, 100 accredited journalists: these are the statistics for the first edition of SAT Expo Europe, held in Rome at the New Fairgrounds from 27th to 29th March. Three days of intense activity for experts and enthusiasts interested in aerospace services and applications and in advanced telecommunications. For the first time in the Italian capital operators and enthusiasts were brought together for conferences, training seminars and a chance to see the latest innovations in satellite telecommunications. As Mr Dalla Chiara stated, “Our goal has been to make SAT Expo Europe a place where these applications can meet and be disseminated towards emerging markets, such as those around the Mediterranean and in the Balkans, and I believe we have achieved this, given the attendance of guests from countries all round the Mediterranean basin and of key guests from international space organisations and political institutions”.
