This intensive, three-day course is designed for primary healthcare providers who provide service to infants, children and adolescents. At the conclusion of this course, providers will be able to apply recent clinical, basic science, and epidemiological research to problems encountered in the ambulatory setting. Subject matter will be presented to the entire group in didactic lectures, panel discussions, and brief management problems, followed by question and answer periods. During some sessions, the course breaks into small dis-cussion workshops and clinical seminars to explore areas of particular interest. Pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and subspecialists who wish to share a concentrated exposure to the current knowledge and art of primary care pediatrics are invited to participate in this program.
Visit historic Boston, home of the World Champion Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. This year’s course will be held at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf on the scenic Boston Harbor adjacent to the New England Aquarium. Conveniently located in the heart of Boston, the course site is just one block from Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market which feature a myriad of shops, over 40 eateries in the Quincy Market Colonnade, and 17 restaurants and pubs. Other nearby attractions include, the North End, the financial district, Government Center, Haymarket, the Children’s Museum and Paul Revere’s House.
