Amsterdam Live Endoscopy Course 2008 - Event details   12/15/2008 - 12/16/2008 OKURA CONFERENCE CENTER, Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS   Description Dear gastrointestinal endoscopy fan, Preparations for our second annual live endoscopy course are progressing well. After our first course last year, we are looking ahead with even more enthusiasm to Amsterdam Live Endoscopy 2008. The concept was proven to be successful, we will do our utmost to try and improve it! Two factors are essential for excellent live demonstrations. The first key element is a strong chairman/panel, questioning the endoscopist on what and why she/he is doing. The Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam and especially Guido Tytgat are known for creating such an atmosphere during live courses. The second key element is to provide a wide spectrum of endoscopic interventions being shown by a wide spectrum of endoscopists. Again in 2008, we have been able to acquire top-endoscopists from Europe, usa, Japan and Australia. They have been selected not only for their endoscopic skills but also for their ability to teach. All endoscopists will also participate in the break-out sessions. We hope that Amsterdam Live Endoscopy 2008 will be as successful as in 2007.
