ITME2008 - IEEE International Symposium on IT in Medicine & Education - Event details   12/12/2008 - 12/14/2008 XIAMEN UNIVERSITY, Xiamen, CHINA   Description ITME2008 is the first International Symposium on IT in Medicine and Education. The conference this year is technically sponsored by IEEE Beijing Section, and organized by Xiamen University, Henan University of Technology. It will be held from 12 to 14 Dec. 2008 in Xiamen, Fujian, China. We invite submissions of papers presenting a high-quality original research and development for the conference tracks. All accepted papers will be published in the IEEE categorized conference proceedings submitted for indexing to EI and ISTP. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit revised and expanded version of their papers to be considered for publication in the well-known international journals (SCI or EI) or Chinese Journals. Some special tracks will be held in parallel Sessions with the main conference. Special tracks are an integral part of ITME2008 so that the researchers in the focused area can have a forum for a close interaction and collaboration. For a special track submission, authors should contact the track chair directly or following the link from the main ITME2008 web page.
